I bought this bike last winter after finding it posted on a random for sale site. I was on the hunt for a new race bike and the deal seemed too good to be true. Once I called and found out the owner only wanted to pay off the bike, we settled on a price and time. She assured me that everything was on the level and the bank that held the title was open on Saturday. So I drove nearly 500 miles to pick it up. Everything was as she said so I went home with a new-to-me R6 with 2500 miles on the clock.
The next day it was in pieces. Stripped of all unnecessary items and ready to be molested. All the work was done by yours truly except the suspension (Thermosman) and the tuning (Markbilt).

I went back through all the wiring that I trimmed off to make sure I didn't short anything. Once satisfied it was all good I buttoned it all back up and waited for a ECU to be programmed. All I wanted to do was race! That's why she's ugly! Didn't have time to paint or make it pretty. That will happen this winter! So here she is:
