Re: Blow out on PC3's

At what point should I NEED one? I've got a slip-on (it was recommended I get one), and thinking about adding a race filter (noob question, I know).

In your case ya its not needed but can help smooth out power. Does your pipe back fire off the gas. Like when you go to down shift?

Actually. I just looked at his album. You have the R6s? You should get a PC.. The 07+ with a slip on is not necessary

You are correct sir (I have an S). So is it essentially a full system? (The S doesn't have a cat)...

Some have told me that I could compare it to a full system because I very little restriction, but I never got a full explanation on this.

The only time I will get a pop (backfire) is if I get on first or second really hard, let her roll up on the RPM, and just let off (not a smooth roll off) – then I get a small pop, but nothing crazy loud or anything. If that made sense…lol.

If you have the funds, I would. Also get the smog block off plates.

Funds do allow for it. How hard is it to install?
