losing pressure in brakes...master cylinder??

im losing pressure in my front brakes. i bleed them, then a few days later, the pressure is low, if not gone again. i havent really noticed and oil leaks anywhere, so unless they are VERY small..i dont know what else it can be besides the master cylinder? any other ideas? and if it is that, how hard is that to change out?

if no leaks, you have air in the system..

Re: losing pressure in brakes...master cylinder??

check to make sure that the lever adjuster screw isn't backing out. i had a similar issue before and went through everything I could think of. One day it hit me that I had to adjust the lever adjuster screw in like three times. I thought to myself that there is no way it could keep going in like that. Then the light went on. Adjust the lever as you would and be sure of where it is adjusted. When the brakes seem to fade check the lever adjuster again to see if it has moved. if that is not the case the let us know.
