kerosene cuts through the filth pretty well I noticed brake cleaner gets the job done too.

+1. I use WD40 or PB Blaster, whichever I have, on the black wheels on my R6. Gets the worst of the brake dust off and leaves them with an sheen that looks good and makes the dust that much easier to wipe off next time. On the white wheels on my little Honda, I use kerosene, as it cleans a bit deeper, necessary to keep the wheels looking sharp since they're FRICKIN' WHITE.

Only wash my bike with waterless product (FW1 shine). I don't like to put water on my bike.

Works like a charm on every surface (even glass) and wax at the same time.

For wheels, I also use WD40.

Current bike : Z1000
Shortened oem slip-on, K&N filter and PC3, rizoma levers, sprocket kit

Old bike : YZF-R6
MJS shorty slip-on, K&N filter
