I like how he uses Guinness for rear brake fluid

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

Re: too good to be true?

The rims could have been from a 2006 Raven-- I'd look it over carefully. Valve adjustments aren't supposed to be needed until 26k miles..

If everything checks out, that's a good deal!

Things I am sick of explaining on this forum:
  • What's the difference between an R6 and an R6s? HERE
  • Should I start on a 600 or a 250? HERE
  • How do I ask the forum a question and actually get an answer? HERE
  • Where do I find a map for my Bazzaz? HERE
  • Should I get a 520 kit for MOA POWAH? HERE
  • How does rotating mass work? HERE

Re: too good to be true?

He might think the Yamaha tick is the valves, maybe a mchanic trying to get over on him and he didn't bite.

You can look a bike over and come.to a conclusion if its been destroyed and rebuilt. 9 times out of 10 they just want to put it back together quickly to sell it so they cut corners.
