1. Megaphone exhaust (Hotbodies) with a y-pipe and cats removed.
2. Hotbodies exhaust with y-pipe, but honeycomb still in.
With those two set ups would it be wiser to keep the cat to have some backpressure or does it matter?
I know this exhaust basically has no back pressure so I used it.
I appreciate anyones help trying to figure this out.

First of all, coming from someone who did it before and learned their lesson, if you run a megaphone or any type of hollow pipe with no cats/muffler, its going to be the most obnoxiously loud thing youve ever heard. Probably won't even let you run it on a track, and cops (in Pensacola/Panama city anyway) will pull you over in a heartbeat. BS that harley's can be as loud as they want but god forbid there's a loud rocket...

I had a custom midpipe welded in with a Toce slipon, and when I went to get it dyno'd, I lost 12hp from the previous setup. I then found out that the shop screwed up and changed the size of the pipe coming off the header, so I don't know 100% what it would be like assuming you bought a legit midpipe.

I'm running a MJS midpipe w/a gytr slipon as a temp fix until I get back from the desert and get my full system, but I dyno'd 116 last time I was on, so I don't think the backpressure is really a terrible issue..
