I personally like all of the electronics on my r1 and think the r6 could benefit from them as well. I dont think it would need the lift control or crossplain engine.
The linked braking system (ubs) is awesome because it wont let the rear lift off the ground. Its amazing fun to go into a corner with the rear end dancing all over knowing the electronics will control it for you.
Most of the guys want the abs and ubs gone. I love it.
Ill take an on/off button...

With all the fancy features, I just hope they don't make the bike $2000 more than it already is.

The bigger question: who will be willing to buy the first model year from Yamaha after the 2015 R1/M recall? The Recall thread on the R1 Forum is over 2000 posts long.
MEEEEEE! As long as I like body/paint, I have no problem pulling the trigger. I have been dying waiting for a new R6. So excited!

That sounds as much as a 4 cylinder can possibly sound. No way that's a 3.

Re: 2017 r6

Im waiting to buy a new track bike and already missed this year as I was thinking for the 60th anny they would have released the new r6. I had the 50th anny r6 when it came out and was REALLY hoping for a new gen.

If its not new for 17 Ill get a diff brand if they release a new bike

it better have lean sensitive abs and tc. Id really like a 3cyl or cross plane as well as adjustable steering damper, QS and launch control but not deal breakers at all.
