Peneske 8983 Shock

Penske 8983 Double adjuster was service by MDM (

) it has new spring that is set up for up to 200LB rider. Shock in excellent condition was installed on 01 R6 but will fit all R6 up to 05 and R6S up to 2010+ . It's buyer responsibility to confirm fitment with Peneske

No doubet . Truthfully the double was much easier , simple to adjust on the fly due to less calculation as I had the triple on my Race R1 and the double on the R6. The triple was amazing with its feedback. The double took way less work to dial it in

One that note, I just had Ohlins (carts) forks and shock serviced and installed by Ed Sorbo (Lindemann Engineering) and I asked about double vs. triple penske shock. He said he always ran a double clicker on his race bikes. He said the triple isn't worth the money and hardly makes a difference...basically little value for the price. I've only ridden to work, but it is very noticeable. I was expecting the ride to be harsh on the freeway, but it's not. I get great drive getting on the gas and no dive on the brakes. After spending some time talking to Ed, I am impressed. He really knows his stuff and I am very happy with his work and service. I can't wait to do a canyon run and a track day.

2005 R6- Ohlins shock with Lindemann Engineering re-valve, Ohlins cartridges with Lindemann Engineering re-valve, full Hindle Stainless Steel exhaust, PCIII, Dynojet Quick Shifter, AGG smog block offs, K&N air filter, Puig windscreen, Vortex Rear Sets, fender eliminator, flush-mount blinkers, and if only I had more time for track days...

Correct regarding the 2 clicker VS the double Very little difference if any, As i previously mentioned i had owned both and truthfully i loved the double adjustment, functionality , feedback, simplicity of the double VS the triple
