Arrow SOme basic questions about braided brake lines

Currently looking to purchase a set of braided break lines but I'm yet knowledgeable on the topic.

Link below to the brake lines I'm currently eyeing off (though I may well go for red banjos):

Link to the manufactures website below.

http://www.coremoto.com/product_p/fr79.htm

Atm I'm confused why anybody would want extra length in their brake lines. Is there any good reason to request the length to be longer than stock?

Also looking att the picture below you can see that various routeing configurations are available:

Is there a general conciseness on here which option is best?

Thanks and sorry for all the basic questions.

Mick.

What he said ^^

Hit up aggracing for your lines, and that routing option outlined is the one you will use.

Re: SOme basic questions about braided brake lines

I get mine cut a the drag racing shop down the street. Tried and tested on the strip.

As for length, it's just more fluid in your shit. Also, if you want to adjust suspension you'll have slack.

As for routing, it's all preference.

If your just doing street riding, SS line are meaning less.

Finally, please support our local forum vendors (Agg Racing).

well you might want them longer if you do lots of wheelies. I prefer the superbike type threaded connectors at the caliper and single banjo at the master.

The Fren Tubo's are out of control! I put the Type 4 CF lines on my bike (with vesrah RJL pads too) and OMFG the brakes are scary! I went to braking only with my index finger and that helps.
