Just finished putting on .y race fairings and noticed there are no holes for the windscreen , am I suppose to drill them in or is there a different wind shield for the race fairings?

You have to drill. Most have little dimples as a guide but are not always right.

Yup. Drill 'em. And then I just use black zip ties to hold them on. Good to go.

When you drill them, do it easy and slowly.

Re: How to mount windshield on race fairings?

The stock and aftermarket windscreens I've seen and used have tabs at the bottom that go through slots in the stock body work. My track fairings don't have those slots. So I remove the tabs with a dremel or grinding wheel to make the screen flat.

This is what I did. I just put a sanding drum on my drill press.

Re: How to mount windshield on race fairings?

Where would anyone recommend going to get the Halo Lights for a 2009 Yamaha yzf r6. I just got the bike and really want the Halo lights for it in blue but I am not sure where to start, i have seen plenty on Google and Ebay but i want to make sure i'm getting the right parts to fit my bike as well as good quality. Thanks guys!!

Drill 4 holes - aligned with the windscreen and use some zip ties
