Driven vs. Stealth Sprocket?

Hey guys this may be a stupid question, but searched the forum and see that Stealth sprockets are about 3 lbs. while Driven are 11 ounces. About to buy a 520 kit -1/+2 from Motomummy, I do little track riding, mostly street. Is the extra weight of the stealth really going to affect performance enough to justify getting the Driven instead, even though the Stealth will last about twice as long with the steel teeth? Feedback appreciated for a punka$$ rook like myself and thanks for your help!

the stealth will not last twice as long. A well taken care of 520 chain kit with hard anodized alum sprockets like Driven should easily get 15-25k miles. the key is taking care of it. On a 600cc bike I would recommend the Driven chain kit over the stealth any day of the week unless you do wheelies and lash on your drivetrain (a stunt bike). But for 99% of the 600cc owners I would recommend a Driven chain kit over a stealth.

9x% of 1000cc bike owners run a 520 hard anodized alum chain kit from us. ON a 600cc there is little reason not to. I run a Driven 520 chain kit on both of my 1000cc bikes w/o issue.

Thanks for the quick reply Corey. Always helpful. in return, I'm spending a disgusting amount of $ at your store. i think it's a fair trade.

i second that^ Had a few things come up lately so I'm have to start the 520 fund back up. I'm going with the Driven 520 black on black
