I like write ups with pics because I'm a visual learner (as well as a kinesthetic) but you don't need to zip tie and all that, other than that, it was on point. :

No need to zip tie, just a tip on keeping shit organized and clean as you work. I have to have shit organized and clean lol

But yes, any of these steps can be changed according to your preferences. There are many ways to go about this, these are just the steps I take.

Anyone put 12vdc into the pump to drain the tank? I had it figured out on my SV650, but the R6 seems more straight forward, just needs 12vdc(and gnd of course) into the plug on right(riders right) correct?
