Gotcha. I'm going over the bike and doing everything I can to make sure it's in near new working order.

I also have an 2006 r6, same symptoms. I've downloaded the service manual but i'm not use to looking at them so i can't make out where the heck the TPS is. Does anyone have a video or picture (not diagram) on where the heck this is on an 2006?

One thing I did after cleaning the tps didn't help was tweak my throttle idle just a tad. I think the new K&N threw it off a little. A very easy thing to try first before doing this.
