One meeellion dollars.
I'm with you on that, sort of, but I drive hard on my tires; lots of folks go with non-name brand and they do just fine. I'm don't think Scott's lady will be powering hard out of turns or going over 100+, than again, I don't know her well...

I don't drive hard either, but there are plenty of middle-of-the-road tires that still have good quality (not everybody needs Hancook, right?) but still aren't the "cheap house brand" stuff.

Things I am sick of explaining on this forum:
  • What's the difference between an R6 and an R6s? HERE
  • Should I start on a 600 or a 250? HERE
  • How do I ask the forum a question and actually get an answer? HERE
  • Where do I find a map for my Bazzaz? HERE
  • Should I get a 520 kit for MOA POWAH? HERE
  • How does rotating mass work? HERE

Reminds me, I have a feeling this Winter is going to be not as mild as last year. I should switch my car back to the stockers will all seasons. AWD with summer tires on light snow is quite fun though

Oddly enough, Hancook was one of the cheaper tires I was checking out. $88 / pop online and had pretty good reviews, but their directional, which means you supposedly get less life out of them because you don't have as much freedom to rotate?

I haven't owned a car in about 10 years, so please forgive me if that's totally retarded.

Yeah, directional could be a bitch, and moreso on staggered rims where you can't just swap to the rear. I personally have to dismount and remount; honestly, it shouldn't be a big deal on the car she has (just move to rear, since it's fwd).

I know your suppose to swap sides but it's not really a bid deal as long as you swap them off the drive wheels AND alignment is decent (others may disagree).

Re: R6 Forum Chat/Respect Thread 14.0

Honestly Scott, I'd go with a comfort tire and not the sport tire btw; it will ride better and last a bit longer as well.
