Glad you're alright Joe! Sucks to see anyone go down, but glad you're alright... The initial pictures really didn't look TOO bad... course who knows... Sounds like the side it slid on was the side that was down in the pictures...

In the end, glad you're alright! The bike can be fixed, or replaced... You however, not so much!
Yeah, man...looked like RH side took the most of it. We'll see, though...she went down a pretty steep hill and I think she might have flipped so I'm not sure if the subframe might be cracked or bent forks, busted triples...yada. We'll see.

Yeah. I'm torn now, though (pun intended). Jacket's still fine, but I've been wanting a new one anyway. Not sure if I'll go for another JR or get that RS Taichi I've been longing for for ever. Shoei's done me right, but I have an itch to give Arai a try. I'm def stickin' with JR gloves, though. They feel great on my hands. I think they named the company after me...

I never went down but I was always very happy with my Danise jacket. It's just hanging in my closet all lonely now.... Probably way to big for you though.

I guess that's one way to go about it... Course I don't much recommend the "wreck it" part...

Oh boy... You sure you didn't hit your head? I just ordered ANOTHER helmet today... and still picking up a NEXX helmet when Ant sets up his account with them... This shit is crazy though!

I stay buying stuff, for my bike, and myself to wear while on said bike... Next in the cart is the Held Titans, and some Sidi's... and Christmas is right around the corner... But let's face it, even with my birthday being Christmas day, I won't get shit... I'm too old, and not in a relationship...

Birthdays don't mean shit to anyone... Especially when they fall on a holiday like Christmas...

Never once had a birthday with friends... Not once... Always cake and ice cream with the fam, and openned up a for "extra" gifts later that night for my birthday... Even got the 1 gift for both from a few cheap aunts and uncles...

RIP Richard Bishop. You're a great friend and someone I will never forget.

Other than that...not a scratch.

And nah, Sammy...I think she's rebuildable. not really sure as I didn't have much of a chance to look at her before the sun disappeared. I limped her back to work, less than a mile away, and I'll deal with her after I get the police report.

Best I could figure it was just stupid me. I just left work...cold tires...definitely lost the front...going into a right hand sweeper. I'm not sure but I may have still had a finger on the front brakes. Basically, I initiated the turn, and she just fell over. I wasn't going fast, though, which makes me say cold tires.
bahahahha You fool (about the jeans)...

Glad to hear you're ok; sucks to see the bike down though.

Don't ever sell it.. You never know when you need a good jacket that fits, and it's not costing you anything.

Things I am sick of explaining on this forum:
  • What's the difference between an R6 and an R6s? HERE
  • Should I start on a 600 or a 250? HERE
  • How do I ask the forum a question and actually get an answer? HERE
  • Where do I find a map for my Bazzaz? HERE
  • Should I get a 520 kit for MOA POWAH? HERE
  • How does rotating mass work? HERE
