What's it doing not in the bike???

I've pulled the motor out of a car before and it wasn't too terrible. The bike seems like it'd be a hell of a lot easier than that.

I pulled my motor last week, took me 45 minutes. New clutch, valve adjustment, check all my bearings, since I put a ton of track/race miles on it this season.

God damn... I'd have no problem doing it by myself after I've seen it done once, but doing it alone my first time would be nerve wracking. It's not really something I'd wanna botch.

it was heat of the moment, and seemed like a great idear.

It WAS much easier to deal with the valves though..

Seemed like an easier alternative to smashing my knuckles on shit, and not being able to see while doing the valves and cleaning EVERYTHING up.

Ive done a few car motors, and I'd honestly prefer those over the bike. Hard to balance the god damn motor on a jack stand while trying to go in and out. suppose an extra body would aid that.

Out was the easy part! I was flustered and didn't note where all the engine mount bolts and bushings went! so.. Should be interesting.

How was putting it back in? Any noteworthy tips so I'm not pulling my hair out over something easy?
