Stopped to look at this big ass new building on the way home, cop talked to me and made a huge ass of himself, I went home and got a hamburger.

You should ALWAYS be skeptical of police. He did nothing wrong, and had every right to be indignant about being detained.

He was near an uncompleted building at night full of easily stolen copper wire, tubing, and A/C units which are far more commonly stolen than jewelry these days. The cop had every right to stop him in reference to.investigating a possible larceny. But then again you and the OP are awesome, and I apologize for not being in awe of your cop hating badassery.

He was doing nothing wrong, and at best that cop was covering his own ass. Make fun of me all you want, but America is a Police State nowadays. I refuse to be complacent and allow police to walk all over my Rights. If you can't respect that, you probably don't belong in a free nation.
