Hi All,
New member here with a silver 2003. When purchased the bike was lowered. Fork tubes were 2" above the trees and the dog bone was not stock. Since then I dropped the forks to (I assume), where they should be for stock and replaced the dog bone, relay arms, and side stand. The rear suspension was set at the softest setting and I bumped that up three notches.
To me, the bike's stance is still too low, but I wanted to show the group and get opinions. The passenger pegs sit way lower than the example bike pic below (red) that I found on the inter-webs. Also, the OEM side stand makes the bike stand basically upright leaving me with a constant "Oh Geeze....it's gonna tip," feeling.
Are there other adjustments that need to be made with the rear suspension? Should I crank it up to it's hardest setting? The replacement dogbone and relay arms were purchased from eBay. Replacement dogbone length = 165mm hole center to hole center.

Any suggestions appreciated.
Best,
MJA
