I have a 2000 yamaha r6, i currently have carbs pulled off and fully cleaning them. When dissembling them infound that one of my fuel mixture screws did not have a spring in it. They all have o rings and washers. First question is do I need the
spring and second where can I buy just the spring or if need be the whole screw assembly?
The spring should act like a spacer at full tight.
To get your tunes close, you would want the spring there for accuracy.
Ronayers.com
I had luck buying OEM smaller items there, but im not sure if they the spring specifically.
You might want to check ebay for carb rebuild kits as well. It might include the spring.
Ya I have had no luck so far. I have already ordered 4 rebuild kits from my local dealer so hopefully they are included. Thank you for the response
