I have a 2009 R6 and whenever I start going in first gear, it makes this low grunting sound and lags until I give it more gas. Almost as if it's just about to stall. It's also idling very strangely. I have a power commander in it, do you guys think that may have something to do with it. Any ideas?
Did this just start? Do you give it a minute before you take off to allow it to get out of "Open Loop"? Typically it is a good idea to allow the bike to show a temp before setting off.
You dont really need the bike to let it go to 150 in temp you know. Those are superstitions. Now the problem, like someone said before check your spark plugs and coils.
No but the temp indicating is a good reference to show the bike is out of Open Loop. Firing it up and just taking off without giving the bike a chance to have a proper switching O2 is not necessarily a good thing.
I know lol. I just baby it. Thanks man, I'm having someone come look at it tomorrow.
