2005 yzf r6

So I left California to go to my home state for 16 days and when I came back the battery was dead. Roll started it a few times and it ran fine, but parked it for the last few days due to the rain and got on it last night and it wouldn't start. So I thought "no problem just roll start it!" But this time it would turnover but die right after and I did this a few times (probably 10-15 times thinking it might get charged enough to run) and I figured the battery was just too dead this time so I got a new battery and I put it in. So now it's starting but sounds really sluggish and slowly the rpms die down and the engine stalls. I get a strong smell of gasoline from the exhaust. I believe the engine is flooded, but I'm also afraid there might be fuel in the oil. Please and thank you!

Re: 2005 yzf r6

Coils are a semi common problem on this bike but wouldnt keep the bike from running, just runs like crap. But nevertheless worth testing and probably changing the spark plugs as well. Easy to tell if fuel is in the oil, a) does it smell like oil on the dipstick and b) is it now over full compared to where it was before.
