Question straighten handlebars

i have an '03 R6 and the handlebars are off center to the right (if riding the bike). its not too bad, but it is slightly noticeable.

i am taking my bike apart for paint and repairs before i sell it and would really like to correct this problem while i have the chance.

any help is greatly appreciated,

thanks

Re: straighten handlebars

They are called clip-ons & there are bolts you can loosen up & put them anywhere you want.

Re: straighten handlebars

Dude, get a clue. Nobody is replying cuz that's all you gotta do. & you shouldn't take the bike apart for paint if you can't figure that out.
I was telling you the simple truth, if you need pictures or something.....well sorry, sometimes ya gotta go it alone, & it's just a couple of bolts for crying out loud.

Re: straighten handlebars

Has the bike ever been in an accident with front damage? Have you ever taken off the forks or messed with the adjustment of the triple trees? And looking down at the top tree, while riding the bike is the tree turned a bit or is it just a handle bar itself that feels/seems turned? Don't be so harsh K-9, there could be some different factors involved, but then too, you could be right. We just gotta find out what's going on for sure.

Re: straighten handlebars

Point taken, I guess I get a little frustrated with the same old " got any pics on how to do this?"
He didn't state any of your variables & 20 questions is not my cup-o-tea.

In the end I guess that's why I've joined the R1 forum, still some newbies but not this bad.
Good luck with the 2 bolt saga.
