Ok, so I'm moving to Japan and for the movers to ship my bike I have to completely drain all of the fluids. The gas, oil, coolant I can do, how the hell do I drain the brake fluid and lines? (never done that before) Are there any tips or anything special I need to do that they aren't telling me? Thanks in advance!!
wow seriously ALL the fluids.. thats about retarded. I shipped mine but it was cross country.. but they told me I only had to have less that 1 gal of gas in it.
Yeah the moving company is being gay about it. They said I have to drain ALL fluids...So I drained about 3/4 of the oil, none of the coolant and most of the brake fluid....Not like they're going to know wtf they're looking at anyways.....I'm thinking it's in-case they accidentally tip the crate upside down?????
If it is a US spec bike coming into Japan, you will have to pay about $2500.00 to $3000.00 to get through the inspection process before you put it on the road.:yuk:
