Shorty Exhaust Slip-on Options for 03-05 R6 and 06-09 Yamaha R6S (with user feedback)

This thread was created to provide links, sound clips and feedback to all of the possible Shorty Slip-on exhausts for the 03-05 R6 and 06-09 Yamaha R6S.

I have been searching for the best shorty exhaust for my 08 R6S. I have seen alot of exhaust threads but they all lack in user feedback and what companies offer the shorty exhausts. I have done some searching and have compiled the list below.

***I am looking for user feedback from everyone that is willing to share. List the exhaust type you have, likes/pro's, dislikes/con's, whether you did or didn't tune/re-map, noise level (earplugs required?) and anything else that you feel will be helpful for those that are searching for a new shorty exhaust. Also please share pics and links to sound clips or videos of your exhaust. The biggest help would be a comparison of different exhausts you have heard in person (which one sounds the best) ***

  • "incredible looking, performing, and sounding exhaust" - Chaseme
  • "The Welds are perfect, not a single bead is out of alignment... The internal baffling looks very good... Very sturdy piece....solid and does not budge...Feels alot stronger, especially in the 6-7k+ RPMs.....I had the Competition Werkes on for over a year and it didnt change the bike that much" - akai
  • "I just installed this exhaust on my 06 r6s and I like it, it sounds pretty throaty..it's loud but not crazy loud if you keep the throttle under control" - hapayzf
  • "All I can say is HOLY Crapola.... now it pulls up in the bottom 3 gears pretty hard.... it's pretty sick... Sound is loud, gets my ears ringing without plugs if i ride for more than 5-10 mins. Everyone notices the bike now.... i like it annoying" - Illtal
  • "its super loud. no baffles, straight through exhaust, short, very lite weight. i like the throaty sound, low brapbrap and off throttle pops. but too loud. serious cop magnet. annoys the fu<k out of everyone. i think its too loud for some tracks. not sure...no noticeable power differences. bike does wheelies before and after the same." - futilelover

  • "I've had my Olson exhaust for about 2-3 weeks now and I love it. Took almost 10 minutes to install and definitely helped wake up my R6S. It's definitely louder than stock from idle on up. People can really hear me coming now!! Would not hesitate to get it dude" - Butters
  • "Very nice unit, good construction, great look and sound - just what I was looking for." - Magus

Why? Leave some feedback on reasons you like it. Anything you think would be helpful, or why someone should choose this over the others.

I second LOR even though it isn't a "shorty" exhaust like he is talking about.
