I have an 2008 R6 and want to use the 2005 Headerpipe and the akrapovic exhaust.

pickpocket you already did this ?

Did it sounds good ?
It's loud as sin... And I had to modify my race fairings to work with them. You will need to be careful you don't melt your street plastics if you've got those installed, since I believe there's a bit of an issue with 2008+.

Things I am sick of explaining on this forum:
  • What's the difference between an R6 and an R6s?

  • Should I start on a 600 or a 250?

  • How do I ask the forum a question and actually get an answer?

I think about to run this with akrapovic hexagonal and DB eater, this should give a good and not to loud sound

Re: RJ09 Exhaust on Yamaha RJ15

Some people run double gaskets on the exhaust port into the header to move it down enough to clear the belly IIRC

It's kind of a "guess and check" sort of deal...

IMO on board video is ideal. Who cares what your bike sounds like but you, the person paying for it and riding it!
