I'm a fairly new rider so forgive me if I've totally got this wrong, but that's what it seems like for me. Plus I only have like 30 miles on my bike since I got my ECU flashed.
I'm still trying to understand how that'll make your rear lock up? Why would fast deceleration and downshifting cause your rear tire to lock up? Ive never had that happen when racing cars so maybe thats why its harder for me to grasp. If anything I imagine the operator to catapult from the bike by not being ready leaving the bike to slide, not the tire

The back tire gets really light under heavy braking, so its easier to lock up with all the engine braking trying to slow it down

Go fast parts:
Pipercross race filter, Leo sbk slip on, 05 header mod, pcv, bauce racing ecu flash, agg smog block offs, quick turn throttle, 520 rk gxw chain -1-1 renthal sprockets, ebc hh pads

With the slipper, it doesn't lock up. But it is rotating much slower after a couple downshifts than the front is going. So it does slide - buy bit bc it's locked up.

As for the guinea pig for the 07 - im getting it done.

Re: First impressions: BAUCE Racing ECU flash

I'm not one bit disappointed with my reflash. At first start up I noticed the higher idle and my check engine light was gone (exup removed). Tested it out a couple times through some local canyons and the difference was really noticeable; wanted to get a feel for it before my trackday yesterday. Throttle is much smoother, less engine braking is awesome, and the slipper is much better now too.

A couple weeks ago, I felt the back shimmy one time while downshifting going into turn 5 at Laguna. This time around at Infineon, had no issues with the slipper doing it's job. Felt the front come a few times too. If anybody is debating on getting a reflash, don't hesitate.

One thing that has not pointed out as well is.....

If you have non-stock gearing.... Anthony can calibrate the ECU to read the proper mph. Then you can simply sell your speedDRD.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but same goes with stock gearing. He sets it to correct the factory error.

Thanks guys!!!!

And for 07 guys, Derffred has been running it for WEEKS. I even reflashed cause he had a tiny bit of popping when decelling to 5k.

QR6/Quintin has had his done for a WHILE now. I just mailed his back to reflash. I set the correction to his sprocket tooth count. So the bike's OEM error came into play and he was doing 93 at 100 with a GPS (not military grade, but better than no GPS). It was 50 at 50 mph though.

So I flashed Quintin's with a % correction vs the tooth count to see if it's more precise. I appreciate you working with me on that Q!!!
