i have looked at tons of different places for solutions to get the glaze off of new tires...ive heard 1 mile..50..100...warm water and wool sponge...i need a way thats worked for you and is gaurnteed to get me on the road safe the quickest..
All I ever did was ride easy. Going around corners scuffs em up pretty fast. And if you just take it easy and dont use much throttle around corners then you shouldnt slide out.
If you really wanna get rid of it fast befor you even ride, Get some very smooth sand paper, and lightly scuff up the outside edges of the tire.
Two laps on a track and I go full balls to the wall with new tires. Scrubbing tires isn't what you think it is, get the tire to temp and things will go well.
as long as tires are real warm, there's no need to scrub them, just launch hard and brake hard to warm 'em up sooner. Just riding around town dont warm them up much at all. Hard acceleration and hard braking warms them up good.
