Best Tires?

sure its been asked quite a bit before, but what are the best tires for the street and why ? (given I don't care about price, as no one should when considering tires for a car or bike, its the absolute most important thing that everything else on the machine can never make up for)

Re: Best Tires?

I just like 2 hours ago mounted my first set of Pilot Powers. I had the droplots on there before.. and let me tell you something. They are fugggggin awesome. You even think about turning it is starting to lean and turn. With the droplots I constantly felt like I was fighting the bike to turn... Constantly riding with some friends and they were leaving me mid turn because I just couldn't keep up. I thought maybe it was suspension.. maybe maybe maybe.. lol The problem was those damn droplots the whole time. I guess they just didn't have enough lean angle or something. Well, my vote goes to the PP's. Why? Because I feel like I can turn the bike now.

Re: Best Tires?

throughout the city, and highways sometimes, so good and bad roads. I ride fast and have fun when i can .I've just learned to Choose the place and time, and keep it toned down in traffic or congested areas.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

Re: Best Tires?

You can't go wrong with Michelin PP 2CT's or Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3's... That said, I usually run Pirelli Dragon SuperCorsa Pro's or Diablo SuperCorsa's. They are spendy though, and do not last long, depending on how hard you ride.
