Newbie to the Motorcycle World Philly, PA

Hi, my name is Duy and my 2008 Yamaha R6 is my first big bike. Before this the only thing I'd rode every day to school and work was my 2014 Honda Grom up until now when I decided to get a bigger CC Motorcycle. I'm from North Wales, PA but work down in the Philadelphia Area. I definitely feel the city has good parking for motorcycles specifically which is a reason why I decided to get a bigger bike. I joined the forum to learn more about the motorcycle and also try to get to know more riders around my area.

North Wales is a nice 45 minute ride to Center City. NW has some pretty nice houses - expensive too! Good community though. Welcome.

Chillin'... while the Lord watches over me!

I love my R6, but...there's no buts...

Yes it is but it truly sucks coming home after work with the traffic.

Thanks!!! Do you ever meet up with the guys at Franklin Mills by the Wash? I've always seen a bunch of people there meeting up to ride to the art museum.

No, not really big into the whole group ride thing, I just like to do my thing. But I'm sure I hear them a lot, I live right near there

Re: Newbie to the Motorcycle World Philly, PA

Back in the days, I made a few I-95 Franklin Mill - Delaware runs, and I spent all last summer down the Art Museum until like 4-5 AM with some good folks.
