Bazzaz stand alone quick shifter cuts ignition. I have the standard ZFI and then added the quick shifter later. The quick shifter plugs into the ignition coils and works very well.

i love my Annitori. . install was pretty easy and it shifts great so far. street tested only at the moment, hitting the track monday for the real test.

what size shift rod did you guys go with on the annitori ?
i measured mine at 215mm so is the 165mm the right one to get??

We believe he is referring to the OEM shift rod setup on the R6. It is very unusual, as as far as modern bikes goes, different then everything else including the R1.

So if you have stock footrests, you need two sections of shift rod to work with the strange setup Yamaha gave you.

If you have aftermarket rearsets, every kit we know of does away with Yamaha's wierdness...

I have aftermarket. Driven and the guy I emailed said the shift rod was 219mm long

OK, then you need a 165mm shift rod with our sensor... Easy to do!
