anyone out there have Intuitive bar sliders (BS-8) on their R6? will they fit a '04 R6? were they easy to install? i bought shogun bar sliders and they're really crappy. the threads are too big to fit the handlebars. i was wondering if Intuitve bar sliders install the same way and if they're easy to install. i thinking about getting the universal bar sliders (BS-R1/
R2), but i don't know what's the diameter of the '04 R6 handlebar. i don't even know if they'll fit and how they install. any help would be appreciated.

I've got the Intu's on my bike. the first time i orderd mine i got the wrong ones. Can't remember the part# of those or the new ones though.
I bought mine from Mike at whitebuffaloracing.com.
Cheapest place i found, and if you call and ask for the 03 or 04 R6, he should know or remember the mix up and get ya the correct ones. I just got mine couple weeks ago and he had to call Intuitive to find out which ones to get.......so he should remember.
I got universal yamaha's when i got mine, they fit the 600r's but not the R6's.

I had the intuitive bar sliders on my bike.
Clip-ons snapped off exactly as if I had the stock sliders on there.
Definitely not money well spent. Now I have Woodcraft clip-ons and took a tumble in the last race, held up just fine.

I tried the Shogun bar end sliders and the design was horrible, they got stuck half way on and I had to drill it out. The frame and clutch sliders seem to be of good design/quality though.

yeah, i've had similar experiences with shogun bar sliders. they got stuck and when i tried to take them off, the slider unscrewed from the threaded portion. what bar sliders, if any do you have now?

If you just want a set of black Delrin (plastic) bar ends, email your address to me and I'll send you a set. Pretty easy to make and I promise they'll fit.
If they don't fit, well, you won't be out any cash!

if you want good quality bar end sliders and eliminate most of the vibration, try earches bar end metal sliders...
