So I am looking to put a strap on the front end... Anyone know where I can find the brackets to attach the strap to the brake bracket? I have seen them all over for GSXRs, but none specific to the 06-10 R6. I am already stretched +6, lowered 2.5" front/3" rear, geared, just ordered the PCV, air filter, block offs, and already have the 05Header with Termi pipe... once i get this installed, i will be tracking this biatch and hoping to run in the low 10's before nitrous.

Just bought some block off plates and bmc filter from them. Way cool guys and a vendor on the forum.

i know what strap to get, but I need to find the proper brackets. I cant just install that without the proper brackets/blocks. I NEED THE BRACKETS!!!! HELP ME!!! Lol

I bought a cheap $15 ebay strap. And ground the tabs on it so it doesnt rub my for. And then I use the bolt that is on the side of the front fender. I can take it on and off in about 30 seconds because I dont ride around with it on. And then when I go to the track I put it on and if im ridding my buddies R1 I put it on his and use the same bolt.

i would much rather have the correct solution... so nobody knows where i can get the brackets? I am going to have a buddy take his off of his gixxer to see if those brackets will work.

ANY RADIAL MOUNT CALPIER BRACKET WILL WORK!gets the brocks if u want to be baller but most guys i know that drag just use the cheesssey l tabs and they work great also

go with brocks. its a couple bucks more but it has a nice aluminum radial mount bracket. i have the schnits strap and bracket on my 05 and hate the mount, its ugly and flimsy

Actually, as someone who has a set of the brocks on his drag 636, I tried this and the brocks billet ones dont fit correctly. YOu could probably make them work by shimming them and getting a longer bolt, but that would be a lot of work. The r6 calipers make it a bitch.:fact
