Well I lost my mirrors when I laid my bike down. I thought I would order those chicane ones that LP makes. After about a month of waiting for them (because of back order) I discover only to find that the adaptors that you need didn't fit. The male end of the adaptor isn't the same screw size as the female end on the mirror. It is close so you think it's going to work but as soon as it gets tight it just slips out.
So I called them today and they said that they had known about this problem and I need to contact someone locally (like a mechanic) and see if there is anything that they could do. I said no I wanted adaptors that would fit. Then they told me well their on back order until September!! now.
They do fit on there well enough to take some pics so if anybody wants to see some pics let me know and I take some.

I want pics. Also, contact them and if they said they know about the problem before they sent the product, tell them that you are going to contact the Better Business Bearau in reguards to them knowing, selling, and distributing merchandise that they knew would not work. The mirrors are considered safety equipment im prety sure, so this should be frowned on by the BBB, nuthin like cruisin, gettin on the highway, hittin a bump and your mirrors fall off and then it can potentially be dangerous changing lanes. Tell them you want this fixed within 2 weeks. Thats bad business practice.
Lockhart Phillips is hit or miss with a lot of their products. A few things are pretty good, but others ar pieces of crap that look good at first, but either don't fit or don't last long...
