I just bought a Harmony Remote (Logitech daughter company) for home theater because my parents are electronically stupid.
So, I get it, and it updates itself through your computer, you put in your devices and model numbers, and I even had an old NEC t.v. that we couldn't turn on and off, but now I can. It is the sweetest thing... if you guys hate having like 10 remotes, this one does it ALL.
Best Buy sells them... wow, it is awesome!

I have a sweet HT set-up and use an
IPAQ 3970 with the Nevo program for my remote.

You can add heaps pf devices and set up macros.
It's bluetooth to my pc so is on the net too.
Great having an updating TV guide on the remote or checking email or forums on it. It's a pocket pc so its got office n games too.

I have the 3970 not the 3950 in the review. only diff is mine has bluetooth.
the one thing that isn't great about it is its pretty directional. you have to point it at the devices you want to change.
