My friend's R6 with the same mods with me has terminal speed 133mph so this is the target.

I find a gear calculator and I calculate what speed I will have at 14.500 with 190-55-17 tire.

With 15-48
4th gear 130mph
5th gear 146mph
So with this gearing is better to stay with 4th gear at rev limiter.

With 14-48
5th gear 139mph

Ok with 14-48 I will have better acceleration but Ι will have one change more.. so I am thinking if the the gain of acceleration, I will loose it with the extra change!

In the other topic redisdeadrideblue said that the ideally is to finish with 6th gear at rev limit but as I said I am thinking that more changes=loosing time.

Red was right. Your times will pick up with the 14-48, or even 14-50 or 13-47

That's what an air shifter is for. And he is right. I'm not completly sure why u want to use an r6 for a drag bike in the first place.. but yeah throw a bunch of gear in it stretch it and put an air shifter on it. That's pretty much it.

Ok I will do it for 14-48 to finish with 5th gear! :)
Maybe I will have a quick-shifter but I am not sure if I will buy it!
If I will have sure it helps with the 5 changes!

By the way for 6 changes the best gearing is 13-48 or 14-51!
