hey guys i need some help and was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was. Once in awhile i take my bike around 120 on the highway, but after i do that my bike seems to like lag and makes a wierd noise. after i leave it at home for the night it would be fine the next morning. but after i pumped the last tank of gas it started to lag on low and high RPMs and won't quit. i dunno if its the gas or something wrong with the bike. when i gas it to around 8k it sounds like my motor is about to explode... anyone have any ideaS??? by the way its a 99 r6 and i have about 12k miles.

Have you changed or cleaned the filters? air/fuel. could be number of things. Your float bowls could need adj, carbs cleaned, try some simple additives. definately some premium unleaded. Good luck.
