Youtube it. It's quite simple and takes less than 2min. FYI i was referring to Lebron James, he got ya'll all hype up then let you down, HARD. But NYC was like :eek5

wags06R6 07-14-2010, 07:03 PM hey man if you ever wanna sell the midfairing with the r6 logo and decail on them I will buy them I need the left side and can't find them in decent used shape anywhere
jwxfd 07-14-2010, 07:04 PM Welcome to the forum...:cheers
ChiefSmokeDawg 07-15-2010, 10:52 AM I didn't use grip glue and my grips hold steady. Cutting off the old ones is the easiest way to remove em. You'll spend hours and hours trying to pull em off just to cut em anyway.
To put the grips on, I put a lil soapy water on the bar and grip. I got the grip started, and then blasted compressed air in the grip hole with my other hand to kinda make a seal against the grip. It was a lot of effort but they are on
Nate D 07-15-2010, 11:05 AM Hello and welcome :wave
Mario J 07-15-2010, 11:06 AM hello Rookies
freelanceshots 07-15-2010, 12:46 PM The poster ChiefSmokeDawg gave the perfect suggestion. Cut them off and use something liquid that will give you the ability to slide the new ones on but will evaporate and leave a sticky surface. I suggest aerosol hair spray as it dries sticky. I also recommend safety wiring but that can be a pain in the ass if you don't have the tool, wire and basic know how. I always had/have my motocross grips safety wired but don't usually do it on my street bikes because they never seem to loosen up. Now if I raced my street bike it would be a different story.
