Ok, i bought Vortex's top triple and their clip on handlebars. I woke up this morning ready to go to work and i find that someone snapped my left clipon clean off....no damage to anything else just my clipon was hanging there, and im pretty sure it wasnt from me, i would have noticed a minor thing such as the handle bar wobbling around..

anyway i just ordered them, they shoud be here by next week. i will post pics once i have them installed.

the clip ons cost me 155 on ebay
and the top triple cost me 70 on ebay, it was a floor model ( lucky me )

anyway here are the pics of the ones i got, ill post more pics of them installed and maybe a few how-to pics

anyone know the size of the nut in the center by any chance ??

Clip-ons arrived today, so I installed them. They were pretty easy took about 45 minutes to fine tune everything and get everything where it should be

"note.. to get the front brake resevoir to reach the stock mounting bracket, i loosened the hose clamps and just used some of the extra hose that was "over-sleeved" but maybe in the future i will buy a foot of brake hose and cut it to proper length"

They are awesome I am 6"1" and the adjustment factor is truly A+

Tomorrow the top triple clamp is arriving, so i will be installing that.

the steering stem nut is a 36mm
should be a fast install. i will take pics, i dont feel like doing a HOW-TO write up, it is kind of foolish to do so since they are easy to do.

but right now A+ for VORTEX CLIP-ONS
definetly worth the money, the aluminum is alot thicker than stock and the bars are easily replaceable and for future adjustments or replacements its not a problem

Here it is, easy to install except for the ignition cylinder, I had to drill out the bolts which took the longest time, the rest of it was easy. The center steering nut was torqued to 82 ft/lbs. also the brake resevoir, i had to shave some plastic from the bracket for it to fit better, and i flipped it so that the resevoir bolts to the back of the bracket instead of the front.

whats the point of adding clip ons and the top triple? was loooking at doing the clip ons but do you need to buy the triple mount too?
