Wassup fellas. I'm definately a newB. I dont have a bike YET. But since I'm here, you guys know what I'm getting. I have riden a 94 Kawi Ninja 600R (not my bike but it got me hooked). I'm actualy researching any and all aspects of: bikes, riding, and safety. It's going to be my first bike and I am trying to hold back from buying an R6 till this Fall/Winter.
I am also learning about aftermarket parts and their functions like V stacks, steering dampners, jet kits, 520 chains, sprockets, fender eliminators etc. I know what the items do but have no Idea where they are installed.
Example: Sprockets... -1 one tooth in the front is like +2 in the rear and are good for lower end torque (increase acceleration) but you loose top speed. I know what they do but no clue what they are. So I guess I have more researching to do. :mrgreen:
I was planning on buying a 2000 but was wondering if I should go carbed or FI like an 03. What do you guys recommend?
