: WTF? Extreme couponing?
blue03r6 04-13-2011, 04:34 PM watching this crazy shyt on TLC and these people are getting $1000 in groceries for under $50
looks like a hell of a lot of work but damn, what a frigging savings.

jmejiaa 04-13-2011, 04:37 PM Great, now I can justify buying my stuff at cost as if I were just paying some money to keep my sanity...Rooms for storing this stuff? Yea right.
Unless you resell, hmmm
blue03r6 04-13-2011, 04:43 PM I'd seriously consider paying one of those nuts to go to the store for me.
jmejiaa 04-13-2011, 06:36 PM I'd seriously consider paying one of those nuts to go to the store for me.
The only crappy part honestly is they have to hoard so much shit. It would be awesome if a neighborhood or family took turns doing it and just divided the goods each month.
Illernoise 04-13-2011, 06:37 PM :nono
Dieselboy 04-13-2011, 06:42 PM Sucks to be that cashier.
Simplegreenvr6 04-13-2011, 06:56 PM I'd seriously consider paying one of those nuts to go to the store for me.
I would be one of those "nuts".....:poke
Its really not difficult. And its worth it. More $$ for bike parts.
bstrongr6 04-13-2011, 07:02 PM I seen this last week and I would hire one of them to do my grocery shopping?
The_ReaperR6SG 04-13-2011, 07:42 PM :lmao i saw the commercial for that and i was in shock. Some woman got $600 worth of food and only paid $9. Like holy fcukstick....i wish i could do that, its pretty dope.
Owen_R6 04-13-2011, 08:45 PM I'd rather pay full price than take the time to clip all those coupons, find all the coupons in each paper, and then stand in line and actually hand them to the cashier that would want to strangle me with the price scanner...
ChiefSmokeDawg 04-13-2011, 09:31 PM I JUST watched this tonight too WTF!!! How about that turd who has 1000 tubes of tooth paste. WTF is that good for?
blue03r6 04-14-2011, 04:53 AM I JUST watched this tonight too WTF!!! How about that turd who has 1000 tubes of tooth paste. WTF is that good for?
that part of it all to me doesn't make a damn bit of sense. and the one lady bought like 60 bottles of mustard..WHY the F do you need that amount of mustard?
I bet she gets pissed when anyone wastes it too.
SSLow3 04-14-2011, 05:30 AM just glorified hoarders. I dk if you guys saw these ppls houses they are packed full. I wouldn't want to live like that.
Kemist 04-14-2011, 05:58 AM My 16 year old nephew and his little girlfriend are coupon fanatics lately..He's always going "never buy anything ask me first..you want toothpaste I got it..soap that too..deoderant yup..razors..bag full.."
It's funny but its smart and I'm happy with free stuff.
yammie6 04-14-2011, 06:01 AM Screw that...call me lazy But coupons are kinda annoying
HellFire 04-14-2011, 06:05 AM Someone needs punch that cheap twat in her ovaries...

:laugh
I love mustard. I am the self proclaimed Condiment King!! And I do not have that much mustard. Maybe like 7 different kinds and bottles on the door of the fridge..
Zexel 04-14-2011, 01:26 PM :laugh

Come on Corey!! It's hot dog season again bro! :D
n8tiv 04-14-2011, 01:49 PM my wife does the whole coupon thing. She shares coupons with one of her friends and she doesn't go overboard with it. She went last week and spent around $160 and saved $150. She sent me to CVS the other night with 2 coupons and I got a box of theraflu that would have cost $8 for $1.
It does take time, but it saves money. Took her about 2 months before she really knew what she was doing.
YZF-202 04-14-2011, 02:16 PM wow these people must have a lot of time on their hands. I'd do this but my gf would probably be annoyed and embarrassed so ill stick to paying shelf price lol. Besides i dont do shopping it magically appears at my house lol.
Mario J 04-14-2011, 02:22 PM Imagine doing that and getting paid Big $$$ to be a Janitor
BlueDevilD 04-14-2011, 02:45 PM Most of this is not possible.. at least not where I live.. It only works if your store does double coupons, has no limit on # of coupons you can use, and the store manager doesnt get sick of your ass holding up his lines and gives you the boot !!!
After the show aired my wife asked our local stores about it. None do double coupons, and most have a coupon limit of 30 per visit.
Also did you notice most of them are unemployed or work on that 15+ hours a week? Put that shit down and get a job !
Lastly: most of the good ones on the show, pay for coupons.. so its not REALLY as cheap as they say.. some pay up to $70-100 a month for the coupons alone...
Dumpster diving for coupons? Fooget that shit !
YXF-R6 04-14-2011, 02:47 PM I'd rather pay full price than take the time to clip all those coupons, find all the coupons in each paper, and then stand in line and actually hand them to the cashier that would want to strangle me with the price scanner...
Screw that...call me lazy But coupons are kinda annoying
:werd
The only time I'll use them is if I find them in the store... Like the time I stocked up on 2 liters of Dr. Pepper for $0.45 each. :fact
jwxfd 04-14-2011, 02:58 PM My girl is a couponer...she's not quite as "bad/good" (depends on how ya look at it) as the people on that show...but there's been more than a few times when we've gone grocery shopping and saved $100+
She doesn't go overboard with the amount of time she spends on it either...I guess it could be considered a hobby, or addiction to some people
blue03r6 04-14-2011, 04:17 PM found my first coupon today, on the box of a red barron pizza. get 6 free wings when you buy 12 at BW3's. lol
chillen on duces 04-14-2011, 09:42 PM I was watching that shit last night too and I was like damnnnnnn hoarders hahaha. No life.
R6TRAILER 04-14-2011, 10:13 PM Sucks to be that cashier.
:lmao:werd
verybigtiter6 04-14-2011, 10:26 PM sucks to be the person behind them..but if you do this, say once every months or smthing then you can save a lot of money.I think the downside of this is you have to settle for what is on sale and not buy the ones you want.
ak2007r6 04-15-2011, 01:17 AM Pretty amazing what they can get but really how much of it is useful. Why do I need 300 tubes of toothpaste, 400 sticks of deodorant and 200 boxes of klenex.
I just go to the store, put what i want in the cart and then hand them that cool little piece of plastic when I go to check out.
Seems to work ok for me.
ChiefSmokeDawg 04-15-2011, 07:34 AM found my first coupon today, on the box of a red barron pizza. get 6 free wings when you buy 12 at BW3's. lol

fiesta261 07-04-2012, 12:12 PM I like this show. You could never do it in Canada though. "Limit one per customer"
I try to use coupons as much as I can but you still get a good price with flier sales.
I love saving; so I enjoy watching it and seeing the final percentage.
bryan j 07-04-2012, 12:43 PM It's kinda cool. Id do it if I could get good stuff, not half a house of toilet paper and mustard lol
I'd rather pay full price than take the time to clip all those coupons, find all the coupons in each paper, and then stand in line and actually hand them to the cashier that would want to strangle me with the price scanner...

The way I see it, these woman are (usually) stay at home moms that spend their time saving their family money (as oppose to going out and making money). Pretty sweet gig IMO. :laugh
But I would probably weigh 400lbs eating all the processed crap they get with their coupons. :thumbdown Never see them in the produce section of the store. :yuk:
