it might sound stupid but how in the world do you change the spark plugs on a 99 r6??? I cant seem to find enough room to get in there.
Any tips would help alot!
not to mention a trip to the dealer$$$$$

Dont know about the 99 but the 04 is a bitch from what I hear. Was taking people 2-3 hours. They took off the tank and air box then a heat shield. The sheild is the bitch. Most people said they would of rather brought it in. But try a spark plug search in the forum there should be something on here. Good luck.

They are a pain but do-able. You need a universal joint though. I used my socket then a 3'' extension then the universal joint then another extension and finally your ratchet. Keep your patience and good luck. :cheers

I agree with above the end ones were a pain. I just replaced mine a few weeks ago on a 2000. I removed the air intake tubes and used a 3 inch extension to a universal joint. Once I got it broke loose and a few turns took off the ratchet and finished taking it by hand.
Def take you time though, Also, not sure if you already had this in mind but with the tank is off depending on your miles might not be a bad idea to change the fuel filter.
