We would like to plan a gathering at some point this summer. Feel free to throw out some ideas.

Right now we are thinking about Meeting at Cedar Point somewhere around July 28-31.

Anyone interested post up so we can make some plans. All bikes and riders welcome.

Cedar Point? :scared Wow that's like 8-10 hrs from here. How about King's Island? Or something in Indy, it pretty much central?

Kings Island is lame compared to Cedar point when i lived in michigan i would go to cedar point once or twice a year at least their coaster selection is bar none the best kings island doesn't have enough good rides as for the trip sounds good as long as good weather

and i am always down for a weekend ride i am only 2hrs south of the mi border now

How about we see where everyone interested is from(cities) and map out whose close and see about caravan/carpool type of thing? I can get a hold of a trailer if need be. But I'd rather ride, if it's less than 5 hrs or so.

I'm in Terre Haute IN it's on the western border of IN on I-70.

no matter how we slice it someone is going to get screwed on the amount of time they're gonna have to ride.....like r6boater said we should throw together a map of where everyone is from and pick the central-most point and that be the destination....

I'm located in Akron like Hammy and I'd definitely be up for a group weekend meet. I like the Cedar Point meeting place, or King's Island too (sorry RedHot, i know that's even farther than Cedar point for you)

I woul rather hit cedar point its a much better park for coasters than kings island but yes more riding time

I tried but no one could agree on anything. Pick a location. I love rollar coasters so I'm up for Cedar Point. Or we could just do a Saturday meet somewhere. Looks like Ft Wayne might be middle ground.

If we wanted to meet in Fort Wayne thats cool or what ever really. If we were to do a meet in the FT. then those south of me we could all meet here in Indy and go up 69 from there. Indy to Ft. Wayne is about 2 hrs.

I have an Aunt in IN I could stay with and meet up with you guys in Ft Wayne. We could make a Saturday of it.

Im in central ohio & would love to do some meet & rides this year.Cedar Point is way over priced IMO & i dout id goto a meet there but would be up for other things for sure.

It happened in July, the only ones from the forum that went was me, R6fiend, and Redhot. Redhot brought some other riders, overall it was a fun time. Since you guys are somewhat near me we could get something together this year if interested.

I haven't posted much since I'm more of a reader than poster, but I live in Akron, Oh also. If that's worth anything....lol

Hotels there arent that expensive, there is a Clarion that is like one exit past CP and it is fairly cheap and nicer than Hotel Breakers.

Whoever is interested in going to CP sometime this summer post up on this page and if there is a few people I will start a thread with a poll at a later date.

you ever get a season pass there? isn't it less than the price of coming twice, or close to that? think i may have to invest this year.

the cost is something like that, but I never go more than one day a year. I got a season pass for there for $20 like 3 years ago and I never used it. I live like an hour away. So I will most likely drive and come back on the same day.

Just a suggestion.Yeah, but a Cedar Point trip in Indy would be pointless since it is in Ohio. This Idea is geared more for people in Ohio, Indy and Pa that would want to go for a weekend or a few days. Anyone from anywhere is welcome, but it is not meant to take up a whole week of vacation time or be as substancial as the trip to deals gap. Just a few days at some point.

I'd be willing to meet at Cedar Point one weekend or hit bike night up at Quaker steak. Let me know if you guys plan on doing this soon.

I just went tp CP a couple of weeks ago and if you get tickets in advance and find one of those coupons in a grocery store or soemthing it isn't that bad. We got ours for $35/each for one day.
