I realize that it's not motorcycle related.... but damn, I'm still having a hard time grasping it... wow..

A good buddy of mine, Eugene, just passed away earlier tonight, I literally just found out. He was in a car accident 7 years ago, he was hit on the driver's side, by a truck while he was making a left turn, truck ran red light. He wasn't supposed to make it, doctors didn't have much hope for him. He was in a coma for a long time, when he finally woke from it, it was like he wasn't there.... he was in a vegetative state since then, not able to walk, talk, move... But he was slowly progressing, or so it seemed. Bloodclot made its way to his lung (I'm not sure on details but...)... he's gone...

He was the first kid I met when I first came to the states when I was 6... so this really hit home... seems like people are dying all around me... first my boyfriend's parents, now Gene... I just... wow... Our parents were good friends and my mom and I were just talking about him the other night wondering how he was doing.... and now we find out about his passing... RIP Geņo, you can really rest now buddy.... God needed his angel back. Gone but never forgotten. <3

RIP. :( It's always hard losing a love one. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.

He held on for so long... he was such a trooper... but I can't imagine how much he must've suffered being bedbound for so long.. 7 yrs since his accident :'(

Thank you all... He's really just been gone for a long time.. I think that his body just gave up after holding on for so long.. He was def. a trooper.

My sister's bf of 4 years just found out he has colon and liver cancer last week. went to the er complaining of stomach pain and came out with 2-5 years to live. Definitely a sad week for me too. :(

Thats great. I know chemo is hard enough but he's fighting for his life. I hope everything goes well w him, I'll keep him in my prayers.
