i was looking for the same deal.. but there are not alot of them for sale here, and when there is there like 7000 with 5000+ miles .. so i just bought a new one.. welcome and good luck

easyryder_28 welcome man, hey check out eBay.com and cycletrader.com. If you're patient you can find really clean bikes for good prices. I'm looking at picking up a mint 2005 R6 with 1300 miles unmodded for a little over $6,000. On this site that bike would be atleast $7,000 if not $7500 or $8000. Just take care to make sure it's a legit auction, etc. and good luck, I've seen '03's with less than 8K on eBay for $4000-$5500 lately, WITH mods.
