Hi R6'ers.
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Sweet Sight.
Wanted to share a little info about myself.
I live in NYC. Bought a 2003 silver r6 today. About 7600 miles with a yosh carbon fiber pipe, yamaha solo seat cover and smoke windscreen. Spent about 5100 total. Need to spend more as the tires are a bit chewed up. Is this an ok deal?
Last time I rode was in 2000. Almost 6 yrs ago! And I decided that I wanted to start the sport again. I have owned 3 other bikes prior to this one(Doesn't seem that long ago, heh). I've owned 2 yama fzr 600's and a 97 gixxer srad 750.
Rode the bike back from New Jersey today. ARCTIC BLAST! I felt like the guys in dumb and dumber with the frozen snot coming out of their nose. Felt weird yet nice riding again. So far the bike is nice. Lots of power, and a real looker. It seemed like more of a workout today since I haven't ridden in 6 years and my wrists were so sore from clutching and throttling. But I still enjoy'd it. Did I mentioned it was extremely cold? =T
Plan on doing a oil change soon and then storing her up for the winter.
What are your takes on tire lights? Anybody know which is a good brand to buy from? How are the streetglow ones?
