My girlfriend has called me many things, but never "Sherlock", unless it was sarcastically preceded by the words "no shit". Never the less, a thought had crossed my mind after reading certain quotes and seeing certain videos, most recently I was struck by the awesome sound of the M1 in a Rossi testing video that was supplied by one of our fellow members. It reminded me that its unique sound (think Ducati, but at higher revs) comes from the fact that it uses the "bigbang" firing order. The other thing that got me thinking was the hints being dropped by Yamaha designers at the R6 launch this year indicate that the 07 R1 will be a technical tour de force, so my question is: Will the 2007 have a Bigband motor???? If it does....... :nocontrol :nocontrol Yamaha has my money in its pockets already.
