I actually like the look of the stock rims. Plus, I'm sure you'll be saving a couple bucks to put towards other mods.
that looks great.. i love to get a set of gold rims for my 06 Anniversary ED. Someone willing to photoshop one a set of gold rims on an anniversary ed?

I already have the gold forks so i want the fork bottoms and calipers powdercoated silver like the ohlins with the wheels powdercoated gold.
could any one photo shop it for me on a pic of the red/white scheme?

went to check out the prices for these rims, and damn! they cost an arm and leg. They are nearly half the price of what i paid for my 22" rims!!!

Nice! I've always thought of doing that to my bike. Along with getting gold rearsets and levers. I think it'd look pretty awesome, dont know if I'll actually do it though!

both of them looks clean, just depends on how much $$$ u got...
how about removing the stickers and reflector??? or maybe the mirrors? sorry my photoshop skill aint that high yet :)

That looks awesome! I've considered powdercoating my black '05 rims either gold like that or chrome. Only problem is I REALLY like the stock black rims (mine have no red pinstripe). Can anybody photoshop a black '05 like that?

WHY: i thought the 06 Aniv edn came with gold rims already. That's where I got the R6 gold rims from.
mulatto: after checking out the prices, i might stick with black rims, but have the red stripes changed to white, similar to the R6 on the forum banner and the Yamaha sticker relocated/removed. Right now I'm in China and won't be back at my computer with photoshop until friday. I'll try and do one for you then.
But hey I still don't have my bike yet. Doesn't come in until another 2 months so plenty of time to do research :YEA
