Greetings fellow women riders :)

I just put an intro in the new members section. Just wanted to let you know it's there- I see there's some threads in here about gear, I won't revive all of them. If anyone needs help with women's gear, let me know.

I currently ride with an Alpinestars leather jacket, A*'s leather pants, and they zip together. Highly recommend 2pc suits for a woman- easier for bathroom breaks :) I wear "Cuddleduds" ladies long underwear under my leathers during colder months. The silky material makes it easier to take your leathers on/off.

I have a Suomy helmet, fits well, even with long hair. I recommend a smoke tinted shield as an accessory.

I also have Sidi women's boots. They're fantastic. And, were only $220 through my local dealer.

For gloves, I have size small Alpinestars, with soft knuckles.

I struggled for years with bad fitting men's gear. If you have the same issues, I can help you find a good fit. I ride with several other women, and one of us usually has experience with gear of one type or another.

I am a big advocate of women riding sportbikes, although I am far from a feminist. I am willing to help answer any riding/gear/bike questions any women on the board may have.

I've been riding sportibikes for 9 years. I currently own a 2002 R6, the red/white/blk version. I've also owned 2 Aprilia Sr-50's as pit bikes, a 2000 Bandit 600, and an EX500.

I recently participated in my first trackday. It was a great time!! I ran in a Ladies Only session, complete with women control riders. I highly encourage everyone to try one trackday for the experience.

Welcome! It is nice having another female on the boards. Maybe i won't be the only one online on a regular basis... it gets lonely with all the men. Haha. I'm actually looking to getting some new gear. I've lost a little weight and that made the bad fitting men's gear worse haha! I'm definatly looking at A-star. But yeah... anyways... WELCOME GIRLIE!

Welcome fellow girlie! Agree with the sidi boots, soooooooooo good, I only use Arai lids & Dainese 2 piece leathers, it is a bitch to get good fitting ladies gear but it has got a lot better in the UK & there are now girl2bikes stores which stock nothing but girlie bike clothing, pure heaven....

Welcome to the boards.

Just so you know....

Foothills Parkway is in Tennessee.

(And for everyone else, for the record) And 100% of the tail of the dragon is in Tennessee. They stop counting curves once you get into NC.

Next time you come down, Let me know. Several R6/1 forum members in the area. :cheers

Hey ladies,
Finally...some other girls. lol. It is nice to see some girls out here. I am from Cali and I ride with 6 other chicks. It's fun.

In regards to the gear. I have a two piece womans alpine star suit and I hate it compared to my new Dainese woman's one piece. 100% more comfortable and better looking. That would be my recommendation. Although it is a bit more pricy it is worth it.
