Allright so ive had just about enough of this guy...so im gonna put him on blast untill he gets shit straight. Heres the DL.......

On July 25th (now i see how long its really been) I sent this dude $265.00 for a amp he was selling. Some of you may rember the amps and stuff when i was going to sell my Slip on...he offerd to trade, but I couldnt sell the slip on anymore and he said he would sell it to me for $250. I was bein a nice guy and put in a lil extra for the CC charge and such. Well...he got the money, told me he sent out the packae UPS gave me a tracking number, and had it sent out...this was like a week after he got my money by the way...noting fast like you should if your dealin with someone elses shit like he is...even this much money...not like that "imbobdole" shit back in the day.

So i got the tacking #....it didnt work. I called acouple times, hard to get ahold of, but i catch him here and there. He said he dosnt understand it works for him...he sounded kinda concernd on the phone so i gave him the benift of the doubt....I call him up about 2 weeks after he took my money and was wonderin whats up

"oh sorry dude...UPS seemd to have lost it in the mail...atleast I put insurnace on it for what its worth so ill get the check from them by sat. (the 19th of Aug I belive) and ill have the $$ refunded to you with a little extra for your troubles."

So im like...ok cool....hes got me in mind and knows its been awhile...thats cool. Well...I had to call him while i was in Alaska to see whats goin on, beacsue he dosnt send PM's (hasnt been on this forum since like the 18th or somtin) nor does he call to fill me in. I get ahold of him...sent the Money order out (i was expecting a PayPal refund so itl go back in my account...im broke as **** right now) and it should be here soon. (this was on the 22nd when he told me this...check comin from Orlando...im in cali)

Well its the 28th...well over a monthb of this guy havin my money....Money Order isnt here yet....tryed to call no answer (not typcial) so im gonna try to call him later on in the day some and if no answer Im takin it to the next level of a PayPal dispute and try to get it that way...if i do get the Money Order thats supodly in the mail ill rip it up like the nice guy I am.

I dont want this guy to get alota shit JUST yet...however if he dosnt set his shit straight with me ill just remain pissed like i am and well..not much i can do I guess...im the idot who had some trust in some kid across the country...but im from Fl and have buds in Orlando so what ever it comes down too ya know.....

anyway im done ranting...Just everyone wach out before you guy from thsi guy and ill keep you posted on what happens....Like i said...I dont want any instant action from Mods or Shane or anything like taht untill i resolve this from him and see what the hell is going on...just wantin to fill everyone in

PayPal is junk. If you didn't get insurance they'll tell you tough shit. I lost $150 for the CRG levers I ordered. Luckily it is connected to my AmEx and they helped me out. PayPal won't do anything for you if you didn't insure it though.

I did the paypal thing allready, said i had 45 days to claim and its like day 33 or somtin. So now i have it on file as im having a problem....

Dude if you used any kind of credit card all you need to do is call the credit card company you used and tell them the deal and not even worry about paypal.

Just got off the phone with my bank...Since i paid Paypal using my Debt Card (bank card) and it was done online eletorinicly....THough Paypal....the only way I could dispute it is if I didnt authorize the transaction.

Soooo cant go that route. Im going the paypal route right now, and ive got some of his info to where i can track him down if need be and ill get it taken care of.

allright so the guy just called me back...told me about the money order and all...sent it out last week, if not here by Wed call him back and hell work somtin else out. He said he sent me a total of $300 so the extra is for my troubles which would be reall cool of him and such.....Sooooo ill just keep this updated for everyones knowledge on the guy and thanks to everyone whos helpin out.

It depends how this thing gets put though...if i never get the MO and it dosnt get cahsed...he can use the recipt and they will refund it as long as its still open. Its like a check ya know...you can cancle it later on. The MO should be on its way though...like i said if its not here by Wed then ill call him back up and we will go from there. but if im not paid and it gets here ofcourse ill cash it....im not out to screw the guy

Hey, just saw this thread. hav'nt been on the forums for a while due to personal matters. Anyways I talked to him earlier today and this will be resolved ASAP. The last thing I want is to ruin my credibility and face on the R6 forum over $265... I explained the situation to him over the phone and this WILL be taken care of. I have many local friends here that are on the forums and can vouge for me. It was a simple case of murphies law, things happened that him or I couldnt control. But I give everyone here my word I will get this straightened out asap.

I told you I had the money order stubs to prove it and that I would fax them to you if you didnt believe me! because he probably sent the MO to himself or a friend. cashed it, so he could say it was cashed.
now he can claim it must have been cashed by you. now its out of his hands basically.
I think I got ripped on another forum. I sent someone a helmet. they said it never got there. of course it was delivered as the post office confirmed. but he never got it. I was forced to give the dude the money for a helmet someone either stole or he kept. :thumbdown

I know there is a way to track it down but he never got back to me. So i figure its a lesson learned and im gonna be extremly cautious (sp?:) when i go to buy somtin else from anyone i dont know.

I just sat here and read all 4 pages of this and I have to say Im freakin pissed, and Im not the one who is out the $$. LoadThis has been a positive contributor to this forum for as long as I have been on here. I have no reason to question his integrity. Not sure how to do it...but i know you can. All MO's have numbers on them like a check...you can look at where it was cashed...then contact the place it was cashed at...then check tapes and etc etc. Its all a big money trail ya know? Its a documented piece of paper so you can track it. But after a month or so the places usualy tape over their tapes if nothing has come up reported so its long gone now.

well he did say that he would fax me a copy of the recipt if i didnt belive him...but i (dumb i guess) said that it wasnt nessicary. I had the faith all would play out and such. Then like i said...later on after he said that i had cashed it, i emailed him via myspace and he never replyed to me since. So...i dunno man, thats why i wanted to see what was up with the MO...if it had my name on it someone cashed it counterfit like and...well i dunno.

I work in a bank.. I doubt this will make a difference since the guy bailed, but the company that issues the money orders for us gets an image of every MO cashed. Our company is "IBS". He should have no problem producing an image of the money order for you, including who it was made to and the signature on the back of the check.

This is probably futile, because he has that classic scammer excuse syndrome. Just one more thing to back you up in case you do get in touch with him.

how long do I have to make a claim though? This happend so long ago I would imagine it be a waste of time to persue it even if he really did send out the MO...and someone else did cash it...it still would be a lost cause right?

Just got off the phone...I almost didnt call becasue i saw another post i made saying that allready called and couldnt do it....well he said that i can print out the transaction from my statement and then there will be a dispute paper with that...they will look into it...contact me then re-fund me the money.

damn...talked to the bank today and since it happend longer then 60 days ago im SOL. I figure tehre is no point to take it to small claims becasue i would prob need to be in person for it and the plane ticket would cost that much to go there. although it is home and i could go say wahts up to everyone...it still is a waste of time.
