but my question is i also found a midpipe for $120 and i want to know if its worth the money to buy it to put on with my exhaust. i dont have a power commander yet so i don't know if it would be worth it and also will it cause any lights to come on if i disconnect the cat&oxygen sensor

let me know where you found the mid pipe im in need..and reguarding ur question..i suggest you save up for a dynojet before u install the midpipe...spitting fire may be cool but also may be harmful to the bike



do not disconnect the o2 sensor and ride ..expecting the ride will be the same..it wont be..and ur bike will probably run like crap

I'm thinking about putting the Akropovik megaphone slip on with the mid pipe and power commander III eventually. 58cycle.com is one of the best sites I've ever seen. i used it for my ducati all the time

if you want to run your bike without a PCIII you have to keep your O2 sensor plugged in. The stock ECU will make some corrections for you. Will your bike run and function properly without any error codes? Yes. If you want to get all the performance you can out of it, than you are going to have to get a PCIII and get it Professionally tuned.

With either of those mid pipes you will notice an increase in performance i perosnally have something that resembles Dustin's Mid Pipe. I would contact dustin on his before you made any real serious decisions.

Also your going to hear all these guys saying how its not worth it. They work for what they are, are you going to get performance that you would get from a Full Ti Graves exhaust? No. but are you paying over $1000? No.

My .02 is that you get a PCIII get the slip on and mid-pipe and get it tuned.

check ebay for the t tuner mid pipe. it has aoption fot the os sensor so it will run better. also try starcycle.com. they have good stuff. and btw dont get the akro megaphone just get the re slip on
